My name is Andrew Mullins, a Kilkenny, Republic of Ireland based freelance web developer. Hello and welcome to mullinho.com, my personal webpage which I hope to use as a professional outlet for displaying my work.
My interest in web and software development stemmed from a young age, where I always had an interest in the practical application of theoretical problems, albeit in a manner unconnected with my future academic path.
Upon completion of the Leaving Certificate, the standard final second level educational exam in Ireland, I applied successfully for a place in University College Cork. Here I studied for 4 years, obtaining a BSc in Computer Science upon graduation in September 2004.
The course, which is detailed comprehensively on the relevant UCC Book Of Modules page, covered a varying array of practical and theoretical subjects. My personal interests were drawn towards the area of Software Development and Engineering, which I focused a great deal of attention on in the final years of the course under the tutelage of Dr. Derek Bridge (Software Development) and Dr. John Herbert (Software Engineering).
